skarnsbach Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 So yesterday I experienced a margin error that occured all across my website, including my backups. Today the error corrected itself without me getting notified. It's so awesome that Squarespace fixes issues so fast, but what happened to the report? - If this issue occured for all 7.1 Squarespace users, why is that not announced in the status anywhere? Or did I just experience something odd personally even though I was told by your costumer care that it happened to everyone? Im really confused here.
SpencerC Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Hi @skarnsbach, The Page Width (Max) setting issue was indeed something that was affecting all 7.1 sites, which was resolved within two hours of it being brought to our attention. If you reported this issue directly to our Customer Support, we sent your site to our developers as an example of the issue so that they could work to resolve it. When reporting a bug, we don't follow up individually with all users when the bug is resolved due to the volume of queries we can receive on a certain issue. If you ever do want a status update on a bug resolution, feel free to send us an email, or start a live chat, and an advisor can let you know whether a bug is still being looked into, or whether it has been resolved. Our status page is generally reserved for platform-wide outages, such as when sites aren't loading, or customers can't log into edit their sites. Let me know if you've any questions.
