Adding Asterisks or writting in 'Bold' mandatory fields

Hi there! 😊

Does anybody know how can I add an asterisk or turn bold a mandatory field on Squarespace?

I would need to adjust this on the Newsletter Form and on the Shipping fields, during the ordering process. For example, adding an asterisk in front of First Name, Last Name, Address, City, Country, Email... Or, if that's not possible, change these field names to bold, so that people know that they are mandatory.

The website url is: https://bugle-guitar-pwpw.squarespace.com/config

Thank you!!

@lourencolobo

When you hit the "Required" Button, the asterisk is applied automatically.

Hope this helps.

These asterisks appear automatically on Form Blocks but not on the areas you have pointed out -  Newsletter Blocks or on the Checkout Page. You cannot change this behaviour on the checkout page but errors will be highlighted when a user attempts to submit the information, allowing them to correct any mistakes.

Thank you for your answers! @SQSDesign @paul2009

Do you know if by any chance it's possible to include the word 'mandatory' on the respective fields? Or write at the beginning/bottom of the forms something like "all fields are mandatory". I need this for a TrustedShops.com audit, in order to have their trustbadge and fully associate my website with them.

In your original post, you asked about fields on the Checkout page and the Newsletter Block.

On the Checkout page you cannot modify the style or wording of the fields, so this won't be possible.

On the Newsletter Block you can add text to the Description field to explain that all fields are mandatory (see screenshot below):
