Car rental booking websites

Hi people, my client thinking of switching to Squarespace platform. He is running car rental business. 

I don't see booking functionality in the Squarespace features. Is this available?

We like Squarespace because it's easy to update content, but if these is no booking feature for the cars, it will be not possible to migrate the website. 

We need simple solution: 1. choose car, 2. choose pickup and drop off date & time. 3. Add extras 4. Finish booking. 

Any advice will help, please.

Squarespace has a booking option. They acquired Acuity to offer better solutions. I don't use the feature often in my business but it seems to integrate well with your other standard online calendars.

I checked Scheduling, but it's not booking app for car rental. I much more for meeting bookings.

Squarespace has their own "Booking an Appointment" functionalities. You will get the booking option under "scheduling". Also, you can use "https://acuityscheduling.com/" for your booking options.

Is it works to be able to book a whole week or month, for example? (for car rental page)

Squarespace Scheduling (previously Acuity Scheduling) is designed for booking appointments that do NOT span more than one day. It isn't suitable for this situation.

I don't think Squarespace is a suitable platform for a car rental website. It would usually require a more bespoke solution. As this is a Squarespace forum, I don't have any recommendations.
