Premier Cover Page breaks on landscape screens

We are trying to use the Premier cover page, with nice results, except that when a screen is in landscape mode, the various sections are superimposed on each other. Any ideas would be very welcome! (Note: we are using the Montauk theme, version 7.0, in case that is relevant.)
