SnoochMaster
Hello, I'm setting up a new website for a traditional brick and motar retail store. They currently have a credit card processing in their store and want to use the same for their website. I assume they do enough volume that they have a better rate for fees and don't want to deal with a new form of payment. Has anyone tried to use cardconnect.com in conjunction with SS - They offer an API https://support.cardconnect.com/apis-gateway would like to hear some success or failures. Thanks Marc Link to comment

This is the same for CardConnect as it is for other payment gateways. As Squarespace is a serverless platform, you only have access to the frontend code (even with Developer Mode) which means you can only use the default integrations of Stripe and PayPal with the Squarespace commerce features. To use another payment provider, you must replace all the Squarespace commerce features and use it simply as a website. This means replacing the inventory management, cart, checkout and shipping features with something else. A popular way to do this is by using Shopify Buy Buttons, but Shopify does not support CardConnect. -Paul About me: I've been a SQSP User for 18 yrs.
