agmantia Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Site URL: http://travisvoice1.squarespace.com Ive been using a website grader to optimize my pages, but it keeps detecting a "cart" page that doesn't appear in my pages menu, but when I click on the link, it takes me to the page. how do I get rid of this?
paul2009 Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 The /cart page cannot be removed from a Squarespace site but this should not adversely affect your site, even if you don't use ecommerce. The /cart page includes a "robots meta tag" that instructs search engines not to show the page in search results. This means that visitors should never see the cart page in search results and therefore won't be aware of it. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017.
