How to center text in a section - Bailard template

I am trying to center this headline in a section. The default settings are not working as there is always more padding at the bottom than the top. It looks fine in the editor but when you view it live, it looks like this. I believe this is the Bailard template.

Adding a break doesn't help and adding a spacer doesn't work as it is too big.

Also, I would love to know how to make the spacer be 1 px, if that is possible. I have a basic site and not a business or ecommerce plan.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Yes but I asked Squarespace and they told me that it is an issue and they need to fix it.

Also, not sure how to get notifications like your post to come to my email so I will know when someone responds.
