center image in markdown box

I have an image in a markdown box. I want to make other changes, but how do I center it without using spacers?

I suggest the following as a starting point.

The first thing you could do it crop the image so there is a minimum of dead space around the logo. Currently there is quite a bit of it in the horizontal  plane.
