Create Parking Page with external Domain

Hi

I created a news swiss domain and transferred it  to squarespace. A hosting did no exist before.

So I started creating the webpage but since we need more time to make the content and images perfect I need  a parking page for people that already have the URL. I cant find out how to create a parking page based on this situation.

Do I need to create  a new webpage project for the same domain or can I hide the created pages and only publish a linked "starting page" that says coming soon ? thanks for immediate help (:

Do as @pixelsandpuzzles suggests. You can use a cover or landing style page for this. v7 sites have cover built-in. v7.1 you need to create one yourself and then "remove" the header and footer with CSS.

Make your parking page your homepage and make all your other pages not visible - this should resolve your issue.

Ah, OF COURSE!!!!
This was a real forehead-slapper for me.  THANK YOU.  You saved me a LOT of time with that tip.
