7.1 Gallery Caption Width

Hi!

I have figured out how to do just about everything I want to make a caption only slideshow using a gallery-slideshow block (doing this to make it easy for my client to change)

The last piece is getting the caption width to be wider. I have tried EVERYTHING (it feels like) to get this one class to expand and stop restricting the width of the caption.

As you can see in the screenshot the caption keeps going but this wrapper (maybe?) is cutting it off.

All suggestions/ solutions are welcome! Or if anyone knows a better way to recreate a text only automatic carousel on a homepage that is client friendly!

Thank you!

Remove width: 1000px; in this code

.homepage .gallery-caption-wrapper {
    width: 1000px !important;
    padding-left: 0px !important;
    margin-left: 0px !important;
}

Thanks! SOrry let me let me start from the beginning ( I have removed all my attempts to make the caption wide width.)

You'll see the .gallery-caption-content is restricting the caption from being as wide as the buttons below. Any attempt I've made personally to widen the caption content has resulted in a wider caption that gets cut off seen in the other and original screenshot.

Any ideas how I can make the caption as wide as the sitewide margins and the buttons below?

Thanks so much in advance!

@tuanphan hey there! Just wondering if you had a chance to look at this?

Add to Home > Design > Custom CSS

figcaption.gallery-caption.gallery-caption-fullscreen-slideshow {
    max-width: 100%;
}
