Help w/ variant descriptions

Hi everyone. I'm hoping for some help with adding a description below the dropdown menu that changes depending on which variant is chosen. I don't want to use a product page for each because they are all beard oils, just different scents so I'm wanting a description of each scent that changes without loading a whole new page. I plan on applying this to more than one product. Not even sure this is possible.

I've been searching for this exact thing. Can you tell me how you were able to accomplish this?
