Carousel images widely spaced in desktop view, missing in mobile view

A Carousel Gallery on our home page – What's New section – shows all images, although there is wide spacing between images. In the mobile version of the site, images in this carousel gallery are missing. I'm looking for help with the following:

– reduce spacing between images in desktop view

– fix problem of missing images in mobile version
