Captions being cut off (gallery slideshow reel)

Hi!

I am currently trying to edit my slideshow reel gallery so that the captions won't cut off. I have tried custom CSS but nothing seems to be making a difference (when i save the code nothing updates, have tried editing both the individual page and the sites css). The theme i am using is forte. 

Im a newbie so apologies if this is a stupid question haha

I thought the off ratio of image cause the issue, but I can suggest one fix by adding custom css

.gallery-caption-wrapper {
  overflow: visible;
}
