Facebook Embed error

Hi Everyone,

My clients site has a Facebook feed embedded using the Embed Block and has working without issue for over a year. Today I was informed by my client that the feed will not load due to an error. Since then another client has also mentioned the same issue with their feed?

Is this something that any of your are experiencing?

I wonder if Facebook are anything to do with the issue?

Do you use a different way or tool to embed Facebook content?

Can you share link to page where you embed fb? Also, can you translate the message error?

I have exactly the same problem on two sites: https://www.thekeepers.org.uk/ and https://www.stroudvalleysproject.org/svp-eco-shop

Did anyone find a solution? I would really like to show some of the FB timeline.

I just get a spinning wheel on both. I think it might be a javascript error. The javascript is added to the footer code injection.

Hi @tuanphan - No, sadly it never loads the timeline. It looked like this yesterday (with the header) but has since got worse and now just shows the 'computer sad face'.

We have been having the same issue. Has anyone found a fix for this? It will occasionally work but the happens again and when someone comes to our page it jumps them directly down to that error too. It's so frustrating. 😕 

I came here hoping someone had resolved this. Are there any updates - support to walk someone through this? We are having the same error.

This didn't work for me, but a solution I found that worked for others was to replace:

data-tabs="timeline"

with

data-show-posts="true"

Hopefully that helps anyone else that's looking for a fix.  Unfortunately, it didn't work for me.
