Pay Later Messaging button

I am trying to get the "pay later" button into the cart option for selection. Does anyone know how to do that with the "pay later messaging"?

Afterpay

Squarespace now supports Afterpay (branded as Clearpay in the UK). When you enable this option, the pay later messaging will automatically appear on product detail pages and on the cart.

PayPal's suite of consumer financing solutions (PI3 and PI4) 

Squarespace supports PayPal but only using an old "classic" PayPal integration and there is currently no support for PayPal's pay later services like Pay in 4 (in the US) and Pay in 3 (in the UK).

I'm hopeful that Squarespace will come to an agreement with PayPal soon so that the Squarespace checkout can be upgraded to the newest "PayPal Commerce Platform", allowing merchants to use these more cost-effective buy now-pay later options. That said, it seems unlikely this will happen in 2022.

Klarna

Squarespace have no published plans to support Klarna, Sezzle or Zip.

I'm also trying to figure this out - the code Paypal provides doesn't seem to work but I hadn't thought about what you mention @paul2009 - if I do get the button to show up and the process isn't integrated into the Squarespace check out then what exactly is the point?

Exactly. I can integrate the script and show the messaging on products, but there's no point until Squarespace support it in the checkout. When they do, they'll most likely take care of the messaging too.
