Ptphotography
Hello, Please, I need to know if it is possible to add another payment gateway in Squarespace. I am from the UAE. Thank you in advance. Best regards, K Link to comment
sruss76
Paypal and Stripe are the only 2 payment gateways you can use in Squarespace natively. You could also look into using Shopify Buy buttons on your site. Link to comment
Ptphotography
@sruss76 Thanks for this. The reason why I am hopeful of using another payment gateway is because I know someone of a company who designed their site in Squarespace and uses Payfort. They are based in Dubai. You think Squarespace can help me with adding a payment gateway? Link to comment

It is not possible to integrate PAYFORT, or any other payment gateway, with Squarespace Commerce. Squarespace is a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution and does not provide you with access to the backend where payment APIs would need to be integrated. As @sruss76 explained, if you want to stick with your beautiful Squarespace site, then the only option is to replace all of Squarespace’s commerce features (their cart, checkout, order emails, shipping options, tax management, inventory and so on) with those of another commerce platform like Shopify. I provided further information (including a guide) in this article. Shopify supports PAYFORT and many other payment providers. About me: I've been a SQSP User for 18 yrs. I was invited to join the Circle when it launched in 2016. I have been a Circle Leader since 2017. I don't work for Squarespace. I value honesty, transparency, diversity and good design ♥. Work: I founded and run SF.DIGITAL, building Squarespace Extensions to supercharge your commerce website. Content: Views and opinions are my own.
