Adding answers to checkout form into customer confirmation email

I have a form in the checkout process asking customers where they want to pick up their items.  I would like to include their selection in the confirmation email they receive, as in "thank you for your purchase.  Your item will be available for pick up ##" (filled in based on their selection.)  Any thoughts? Thank you!
