Seeing "select" form answers on a purchase

How do you see what a customer has chosen on a "select" form? I have listings with 2 options on a "select" form, and I can confirm you have to choose one, but on the order, there's absolutely no way to see what option the customer chose. I know where the info should be, since I can see answers from "text area" forms.

If I can't actually see the selection anywhere, that means the "select" form is absolutely useless to me, and I have to redo all listings with "select" forms so that it's a style option, instead of an easy form to apply to several listings.

Is there any way to see that answer, or do I now have to email my customer to find out what she chose?
