Different site editor from personal to commerce?

I've created a website via Squarespace for my personal photography portfolio and have always loved the editor. Now that I've started to create a website for my own personal business, the editor seems to have changed over to some sort of different kind of editor that is just absolutely dreadful. A lot of my own customizations from my other website are simply non-existent on the business website editor and it's making it very difficult to edit a specific button's color, for example. Any ideas on how to switch to the other site editor?

Since my website was still relatively new, I restarted the design with an older template and that seems to have resolved the issue. I have no idea why the new site editor was necessary, however, my personal input on the matter is that it is absolutely horrible to work with if you like to personally adjust every little thing about the website.
