How do I adjust the speed at which my summary block plays as a slideshow within my code?

I am using the 7.0 version of Squarespace and I wanted to make my summary block behave as a slideshow. I added this code: 

#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1585642509405_8887{

  background-color: #d1b2a9;

}
It worked, but the slideshow passes by too quickly. Any advise on how I can adjust this code so that it goes by slower?
