CSS not working on disabled main nav pages but works on live hompage

I used the custom code feature to build a coming soon page which is set as the homepage on the site. Which is live. Now I want to design the rest of the site in the background without effecting the coming soon page, which I've begin to do by creating disabled pages in the main navigation. But none of my custom code for like headings/fonts etc are working on those pages. Any one able to help?
