How to make donation button open donation page in a new tab

Hi all! 
I would like my Donation block button to open the Donation page in a new tab, rather than moving me outside of my website (especially since I use a 1-page design). Unfortunately, I did not find such an option. I am using Squarespace 7.1. Any ideas? CSS codes welcome!:)

Please post the URL to the page where the donation button is located.

If your site is not public please set up a site-wide password, if you've not already done so. Post the password here.

We can then take a look at your issue.

CSS won't work in this case. Is requires Javascript and the task is tricky because of how the feature is implemented.
