Add the following to your site tag line.

<a href="[enter your url here]">#HashTagGoesHere</a>

Let us know how it goes.

  • Hi Thomas, thanks for that but first, I need to make the tagline appear. How can I add a tagline? Thanks!

Wow! I would never realized I could put HTML on the field directly. Thanks!

It works for now but I think SS didn't intend for HTML to go in that field and some day they might change the behaviour. Also don't depend on the technique working in other places.

If it does break in the future there are other ways the same end result could be accomplished.

Hi! I just ran into the same issue (but 2 years later). Like you stated, this functionality no longer works. Is there another way to do this since HTML no longer seem to work for Taglines? You said that there may be other solutions, so I would greatly appreciate your help with this!

@StrawberryFrog

Please post the URL for a page on your site where we can see your issue. Also if you could describe in more detail what effect you want to achieve to may help us. For example do you want to make the whole tag line a link? Or, a word?

If your site is not public please set up a site-wide password, if you've not already done so.

Post the password here.

Adding a site-wide password does not allow anyone to alter your site. It only allows those with the password to see your site. Please read the documentation at the link provided to understand how it works.

Please read the documentation at the link provided on how to share a link to your site to understand how it works. A link to the backend of the your site won’t work for us, i.e. a url that contains /config/.

We can then take a look at your issue.

Site URL: https://purposepowerindex.com

Hello all! I recently just did a reveiw of my site and I was made aware that the tagline I had no longer links out to webpages like it used to. Not sure if there is a way to make it work through custom CSS.

Site: powerpurposeindex.com

Code for tagline: BY <a href="[https://www.strawberryfrog.com](https://www.strawberryfrog.com)">STRAWBERRYFROG</a> & <a href="[https://www.dynata.com/](https://www.dynata.com/)">DYNATA</a>

Would greatly appreciate any help with this!

Hello! Thanks so much for the reply. This site is not PW protected.

Site: https://www.purposepowerindex.com/

I have this code pasted in the tagline section of the site:

<p>BY <a href="https://www.strawberryfrog.com">STRAWBERRYFROG</a> & <a href="https://www.dynata.com/">DYNATA</a> </p>

I would like to link the two company's name to their repective home pages. StrawberryFrog and Dynata. This used to work just fine, but I guess during one of the updates, this functionality has been removed.

Apprecitate your response and look forward to hearing what your suggestions may be.
