Adding a location based (postcode/zipcode) search function to site

Hi there 

This project is yet to be begun, but I'm wondering if anyone could give me direction as to how I can achieve what I want.

I will be going to the Marketplace for help with building this, but wanted to post here first so hopefully I can be clear on the Marketplace about what exactly it is I need.

The site I will be making is a directory of beauty therapists. It connects visitors with therapists, but is not a booking site. 

I want to be able to search for therapists by specialism, and by postcode/zipcode.

Might anyone be able to suggest ways to achieve this? As I said, I will be going to the Marketplace (unless there is a smart workaround that doesn't involve custom CSS) but want to understand what I'm asking for!

What you need is called a store locator or directory app 🙂

I take it this can't be done in Squarespace?

I need this too, but looking like I'll have to go elsewhere other than Squarespace sadly

Squarespace doesn't support a native store locator.

Squarespace does allow the use of custom code. So if you can find some code or a service it may be possible to use it with SS.
