Dropdown menu splits with large whitespaces (Template Pacific 7.0)

Hello,

I'm adding dropdown navigation to a site using folders. All looks good except when I preview the site in extended display, the top links separate into two sections. The middle links appear to have wider padding/whitespaces as if a link is missing in the middle. (see attachment).  Is there a way to troubleshoot this?
