Help. Can't switch template

Hi. I have just subscripted to a business annual plan. I have chosen a random template called PAZARI to start with but realised I prefer the other template TEPITO. I haven't started anything on the website yet but couldn't switch the template. I thought I could switch the template easily... I am new here, what should I do now :(?

Squarespace v7.1 doesn't have "templates", just different "starting points" that you can choose from to get you started. All the TEPITO features are in your PAZARI site, they just haven't been made to look the same.

Once you've started a site, you cannot reset it back to one of the starting points, so your only option is to cancel your subscription if you don't like the design, and then start a new trial. If you need help doing this, Squarespace Customer Care can help you. You can reach out here.

 

I dont remember chosing to use the 7.1 version. Is there a way to go back to the 7.0.  I have another site that is the older version and I much prefer the flexibility of 7.0.  It seems that 7.1 is more for designers who want to spend hours deciding what there site looks like. I however prefer plug and play.

By default SS starts you with their latest version (v7.1). Down at the bottom of their default template page there is link to a page to select v7.0 templates.
