cjmunn
I keep getting notifications from Google that my website is not suitable for being seen on mobile phones due to content being wider than the screen, items too close to one another and size of font. One of the reasons I originally went with Squarespace is because it used to do three different versions of a site - adapting the layout and size slightly for phones and tablets. Is this no longer the case? How are others getting around this if you don't code? Link to comment
paul2009
Squarespace 7.0 provides a reasonable amount of control over the mobile view, but these features haven't reached Squarespace 7.1 yet. The newer version is still responsive and should adapt to tablets and mobiles, but you have less control over the way that it does this. That said, if you are having issues with content that is too wide or too close, and you haven't used custom code, I recommend that you report these specific issues to Squarespace Customer Care so they can fix them. derricksrandomviews
Google is sending me messages with my old 7.0 site as well, and I have made no changes to it in that regard. Not sure why they are sending notifications about mobility view. Link to comment
CatherineJoMorgan
I'm having the same issue with a 7.0 site that hasn't changed. When I researched it further, though, I found that it was only an issue with one page, and instead of being about text size and clickable spacing, it was simply one video I'd added. For some reason the same video was fine on the client's Videos page, but when embedded in a regular page, showed overlapping text on top of the video image. Taking that video off fixed the errors.
