Text box next to slideshow (left or right)

I would like to add text NEXT (left or right) to a slideshow and not underneath. How can this be done? 

Can you share link to slideshow? We can check easier.

I found a solution. But i found a new problem too. 

1. I fixed the "text next to slideshow" by adding a blog post. I figured that i had to change all my pages to blogposts in order to get the slideshow i wanted.

What im trying to say is that the only flexible slideshow, where you can add text next to it and crop it as you want is hidden under galleryblocks and can only be added in a BLOG POST.

2. I have a new problem now. I want to add a slideshow  that matches my design on my front homepage. I use "inset" in my layout, but the slideshow feature does not allow me to use that. Unless it is a "blog post Gallery block slideshow" again. So i have to make the blogpost my front homepage but ouh.. Thats not possible.

It's so simpel and i have made it in a blogpost. But i can't make it my homepage in any way.
