Summary Block not updating with newly added products since Squarespace products update a month or 2 ago

Heeeyyy,

So I think in August Squarespace provided an update to the way products work, I was prompted to install this update when I logged in on my site and all works fine except for that the summary block I have on my website homepage that is meant to display 'recently added' products has stopped working. All products added after this Squarespace update don't appear in the summary block.

Any help on a fix would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried setting up a new summary block on a new test page? You can create a test page in the unlinked area so no one can see your work. Does the new summary block work then?

Thanks heaps for your response! I've set up a new test page and added a new summary block but unfortunately still not working https://www.ultrafragola.com.au/test. Most recent products are not appearing in the summary block.

Strangely I've noticed that if I tag a new product as a 'featured item' they suddenly appear, but in a weird order that isn't sorted by date...

So it appears your original summary block is not broken in the sense that items are there just not in the order you'd like.

Yes the Featured Filter is one way to get items to at least show up in the summary block.

I'm still looking into this so may have more later.

It appears that summary blocks use natural order sorting by default. In other words first in, first out (FIFO).
