Different store layouts

Hey, I have multiple store pages on my website and I am wanting to have different layouts for each store. Not major changes but just picture aspect ratios and number of column etc.

But when I go onto a specific store page and change the number of products columns on that page is changes it for EVERY store page on my website, this is super annoying as the reason I have separate pages is for completely different items which need to be presented differently.

I'm assuming it is just a setting I need to turn off somewhere but I cannot find it and live chat is closed on the weekends... Any help with this would be greatly appreciated Please. Thank you for your time

This is by design. The settings are global. You cannot change the settings for just one product page, without writing code.
