Avenue template color background in text block

Recommended Posts

I'd like to create a part of certain pages (not the headers) with a text block and behind it a color other than my regular background color (which is white).

Something like this, where the text is regular text (not part of an image), so I can add links etc.

I'd prefer the full screen width of the colored block, but would be okay with something that's not as wide (like between a left and right space).

Thanks.

You can add this code to Home > Design > Custom CSS

#text-block-id {background: red;}
