Video Gallery Clickable Link in Description

I'm using the Brine Template and I've got a video gallery index page set up on my website and I'm pulling the content from Vimeo. In each video description, I've added a 'Playlist' and have linked it out to the corresponding Spotify playlist. When I view the page, every time I click on the Playlist link, it opens up the video lightbox.

I'm wondering if there's code that I could add to

A: have that link be active in the thumbnail so it actually clicks through to Spotify or 

B: Display the caption outside of the video thumbnail so that the link is active (i assume a click can only trigger a light box)

Any help is greatly appreciated! 

I think B option is possible. Caption, you mean "Playlist" or all text in video (title, paragraph + playlist)?

Thank you so much for getting back to me! I just mean the word 'playlist', I've added a screen shot for you. So i've added a hyperlink to the word playlist but when cant seem to click through to the link on the video thumbnail in the gallery, it seems to bypass the link and just opens the video. 

*EDIT* sorry to clarify, option B would be the whole caption (title, paragraph + playlist)  would sit under the video thumbnail. with the hopes that 'playlist' would then be clickable
