Is there another way to change this first part of the link so that we can streamline it with the rest of our site and make the link something easy to remember? Link to comment

Ashling
Hi Tuan - Ash ling, again - hi! That article states:"It's not possible to customize or redirect a static asset URL." Is this true?https://static1.squarespace.com/static/529aeacfe4b0c5f2207ef225/t/642e7f43d7fea80b780f9697/1680768868869/Ash-Ling-CV-2023.pdf This looks very unprofessional... Be great if it could be customised to:https://www.ashleyling.com/Ash-Ling-CV-2023.pdf or something of the sort! Is it not possible? Ash Link to comment

When you are sharing a link, you can choose to use a version that includes your domain name, but link will always have "/s" in it. In this example, the link to your PDF is https://www.ashleyelizabethling.com/s/Ash-Ling-CV-2023.pdf. Of course, this will redirect to the CDN link that starts with “https://static1.squarespace.com”. There isn’t anything you can do about this. Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below ⬇️ Edited April 7 by paul2009 About: Squarespace Circle Leader since 2017. Ashling
Right, but the URL of the link will always be referencing Squarespace's content DAM? You can't customise to mask it? Link to comment
kaemo
Basically I have a number of portfolios on my website, and for each portfolio there is a PDF that opens in a new window, via a linked file. When it opens in the new window, the URL is "static1.squarespace.com" and I was hoping somebody might know how to change/customize this? Thank you!! Link to comment
