Removing Navigation Bar on Shopping Cart

Your site is private which means that I cannot see the context for your request and it's difficult to know why you want to do this.

However, I don't recommend removing the site-wide navigation from any pages as it can reduce trust and lead to a poor user experience that can actually increase cart abandonment rather than reduce it. Without it, customers may not know how to return to your store to add more products, or how to reach shipping or returns information that will increase their trust before they complete their transaction.

If your navigation bar is a distraction that is preventing users from reaching the checkout then, rather than removing it, it would be worth reviewing the navigation bar's design to reduce the intrusion. The site-wide navigation, or a subset of it, should be present on all pages except the checkout page. Removing it can make a visitor feel lost and give up. I've seen it in user testing and that's why Squarespace keep it on the cart page.

I hope this alternative point of view helps.
