Can I create an opaque text block behind solid text?

Question

Hello, I'm looking for a way to display text over a number of full size images. I have found code to make an opaque block colour but this also affects the text which I would like to remain a solid colour. I would be most grateful for any suggestions - thank you.

Remove your code, use this code

#block-9342d5c75a2028eaa58c {
    background: rgba(240,240,240,0.5);
    padding: 50px;
    text-align: center;
}
[data-section-id="5f61e066efbca1309ee6b249"] .content {
