Selling multiple items as a pack offer

Selling Face Masks. 
We have the option set up to sell a single mask, by colour/size. Easy enough. 
We're trying to sell a family pack of 4 masks - but the issue is allowing the customer to order by color and size when buying that 4 pack.

I've tried a multiple ways/variations/options, but can't seem to get it working. 
Does anyone have experience with this? Or advice? 

I hope this makes sense.

If you are selling single products and family packs, you can either

• add them as separate products, where you have one "single mask" product and one "family pack". Each will have colour variant options (and potentially size variants too, such as medium or large).
• add them as a single products, and add another variant option for pack size. That way you'll have potentially three columns in the product editor, one for colour, one for mask size, and one for pack size (single or family pack. You'll then need one row for each possibility.

thanks for the reply mate. 

it does help, but still confuses me... 
as a family pack the client would like to be able to choose 4 different colours, 4 different sizes to create a 4 mask pack... 
does that make more sense?  

(failing that, i can try to just have it on the single mask product page that if they add four masks to the cart it's auto discounts to a new price)

Using this method, it will not be possible to select different colours or sizes within a pack; they must all be the same.

To allow customers to pick individual colours and pay a “pack” price, you can add products individually and then configure a discount that automatically applies a percentage off when the subtotal is over a certain threshold. To do this, you must be on the Advanced Commerce billing plan.
