Need to change address field in Checkout - please help!

There is a field in the address form that doesn't make sense for my online store which is located in Italy. The field should read "Provincia" but instead says "Stato". It's clearly just a direct translation from the US version but just makes things confusing for customers here in Italy and I'm afraid is resulting in abandoned carts. Is there a coding fix for this?

I understand the checkout page is pretty locked down but shipping address is critical information so this is just not acceptable.

Sadly, Squarespace still has a very US-centric user-interface and, as posted herethis is one of a number of aspects that cannot be changed, despite internationalisation.

This forum is not monitored for product feedback but you can raise this with Squarespace by opening a ticket through Customer Support
