Can I temporarily pause my shop (just the product pages) ?

Hello, 

I'd like to be able to pause my shop from my phone when I'm at an art show or craft fair to avoid double selling items. Most of my pieces are one-of-a-kind and I can replicate, but not duplicate so I'd like to be able to "pause" the ability to shop (with a notice explaining why it's paused) until I turn it back on after a show. 

Is t his possible?
