Form not showing on Coming soon page?

Hi,

I'm very new to SS. I've created a Coming Soon page at first with a newsletter button which linked to the mailerlite newsletter form which seemed like a double up. Then I realised I could add a form on this page, I set that up but it won't show. I'm sorry I'm very lost with this page. Maybe what I'm expecting is not possible. Ideally I'd like the name & email address form on this page so people can sign up to my newsletter and be notified when the site is live.

I'm aware SS doesn't link with mailerlite, I do appreciate that's another issue, I just need to understand the form function on this page and why its not showing.

You can either embed a MailerLite form on your Squarespace website (this requires site code injection + a code block to embed the form) - you can see that in action here on my site: https://christyprice.com/squarespace-prelaunch-checklist

Or you can use a Squarespace newsletter block and that will save the name and email inside Marketing > Email Campaigns > Mailing List. You can choose the Mailing List you'd like it to save to in the newsletter block settings. Once you've done that, the block will show up. When you're ready to email your list that the site is live, you can either do it from within Squarespace Campaigns or you can export the list and import it into MailerLite.

Could also use the Zapier integration.

On form submission, send to Zapier, and from Zapier to Mailerlite.
