Adding a Gift Wrap Option at Checkout

I want to add a gift wrap option at check out AND have it charge an additional $5 on top of the total.

I know how to add a custom form asking about gift wrap but cant find a work around to add the extra $5.

Thoughts?

There is no possible way, I'm afraid. You can always create a "service" product for Gift Wrapping, but the customer will need to add it manually to the cart. I've "solved" asking only for a gift message, no gift wrapping. That's sad but Squarespace is really limited from a commercial point of view.

There isn't a specific feature for this, but one option is to add 'Gift Wrap' as a variant for the product, so that users must choose "No Gift Wrap" or "Gift Wrap" before they click Add to Cart. You can set the price of different variants, allowing you to set the gift wrapped price to $5 higher.

Need to add an option to add all cart items as a "gift" with several addon options for gift wrapping. The purchaser should have the option to add a custom message to the recipient as well.
