Creating a new site from my current site but keeping the same (payed) account

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://www.dustco-online.com

Hello everyone!

I have just started a project (CHASE) that is a follow-up from my last project (DUSTCO).

So I want to copy my DUSTCO site, changed/adapt it to my new CHASE project (including changing the domain).

I.e. change it from https://www.dustco-online.com to http://www.chase-online.com.

Once the new site is ready to go online, my plan would be to deactivate the DUSTCO site and activate the new CHASE site.

My question is: can I do all this within my current Squarespace account (which is payed until April 2021)?

I would appreciate any feedback you can provide me.

Thanks so much in advance!

Catarina

Hi Catarina,

Depending on what you have in mind, you might want to either just transfer or connect the www.chase-online.com domain to the already existing site when you are ready to launch it under the "new domain" and then disconnect the old domain or, alternatively, starting a new trial site under the same account and build the CHASE project site in there. As a note, at the moment there isn't a way to move Squarespace subscriptions between sites, so the process will always involve canceling the old site when you'd no longer need it and then activate the new one. Check this guide for more info here:
