reCAPTCHA works in private mode, invalid when public

I'm having an issue with reCAPTCHA in my newsletter block, promotional popup, and form submission. I used my built-in domain to set up reCAPTCHA, as instructed. It seems to be functioning when my site is private, but when I publish, the tickbox says "ERROR for site owner: invalid domain for site key." 

Any help would be appreciated!

Nevermind y'all, I figured it out. In Google reCAPTCHA settings, I added my visible domain in addition to the built in domain. Hope this helps someone else.

Unfortunately this didn't work for me and I am still getting the error message. Any help would be appreciated!
