Payment : Cards not being authenticated.

Hi. 

All of a sudden, today, the checkout keeps failing. I am using stripe as the payment gateway. A picture is attached below. I don't know how to proceed. There is not a problem with the cards. I have tried with multiple Visa and Mastercard cards and nothing works.

Hello, Inhave had the same problem. Squarespace keeps on telling me that this is a stripe problem. Indeed, I have discovered that customers are not prompted to use 3D secure though it is mandatory in EU. But Stripe says that It is a problem with squarespace checkout. In the meantime, all credit card orders are declined on our website www.loveandcakes.fr !!! Can anyone help with this issue? Since squarespace and stripe do not help at all!!!

Users of this forum cannot help to troubleshoot issues like this because we cannot access the Squarespace/Stripe payments system to investigate. There are currently no issues reported on the Squarespace status page or the Stripe status page, but that doesn't mean that there isn't an issue.

If you continue to experience issues with payments, I recommend that you persist with Squarespace Customer Care.
