give trial on subscriptions

I want to know if I create my membership site on this platform if it is possible for me to give a 1 week free trial before the new customer gets charged?

also, do i have the ability to create a members area with a login for them?

Did you find an answer to the free trial issue? 

I would like to do the same, but I am struggling to find a way to do it.  It got me thinking about using Shopify instead, but they have issues of their own with the subscription Apps one has to use on top of Shopify.

If you want, you can create a 100% automatic discount and limit it only for the first payment. That's possible.
