CSS for Shop Categories won't work

Hi - I'm attempting to hide the categories at the top of my store page. I've tried every bit of code on this forum, however none of it is working. I don't have much CSS on my site already, so I don't think something is conflicting. The only code I have is renaming More Posts, and adjusting Button width and Summary Block text style.

I've tried everything for two days! Please any help would be life saving... thank you!!
