BradPippin
Hello, I'm new and I think the Flatiron template is the perfect one for me except for one thing. I'd like to be able to have some copy below the header but before the portfolio index that explains who I am, etc. Is there way to do that? Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
Flatiron has a site wide header, but does not have individual page headers like Avenue and other photography templates. If text before index is really what you want, then Avenue will work, or Wexley which, does not have an index page but has a great gallery page layout, with page headers. If you are looking for a more modern look like Flatiron but need page headers, so you can post text before the index then take a look at York. https://york-demo.squarespace.com/ Link to comment
BradPippin
Thank you! I looked at York and it was pretty close but didn't like how the pages linked to the index will only allow the text to be centered over the images. Avenue looks good. I just wish the Header remained stationary as you scroll down and also the page description as well. Do you think I'd have more control over these elements in 7.1? Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
Not really 7.1 is just one template wit a lot of layout and color palate starting points. I would look at something in the Brine Family which is a very flexible site with code and very popular. Here is a look at the whole family: The Brine Family Template Index — Sarah Halliday Link to comment
