Product Page Upgrade

Will customer's be able to use the site while the site upgrades? And how long does the upgrade take? 

The Add to Cart button is not working in Quick View on our product page so I'm wondering if this upgrade might fix the problem. 

Also the Quick View button itself is wonky. You have to double-click on most products but a couple random ones you only have to click once? I think it's a bug.

These are all great questions for Squarespace Customer Support.

The upgrade has taken less than a minute for me each time, but your experience may differ, especially if Squarespace is busy, or if you have thousands of products in your store. Website visitors shouldn't be affected during the upgrade itself, but it does make changes to your site that may affect the layout of products and/or product categories. It's always good practice to do an upgrade during the quiet hours for your site as this will give you time to make changes to the styles or structure.

This upgrade affects the product database. It is unlikely to fix an issue with Quick View. If you have a pre-existing issue with this, I suggest that you address this with Customer Support before doing the upgrade. You can reach out to them here.
