Custom cursor on Squarespace 7.1

Hi, is it possible to implement this cursor to my Squarespace 7.1 site https://codepen.io/dumontmatteo/pen/bGpdjNV ?

I have already tried to paste the three columns to my custom CSS, but it doesn't seem to work.

My site is not yet published, so i'm unable to provide a link.

1. Just use this Codepen in a code block to change to cursor.

2. Try to make three cols with native Squarespace instead of coding.

I'm not a developer – actually not at all. I know how to implement code in the custom CSS, but that's pretty much it. Are you able to provide a more detailed description of what to do?

1. Insert the CSS code in Design -> Custom CSS and JS Code in Settings -> Advanced -> Footer Code Injection

2. Create HTML code block from your page editor box. and Insert HTML code there.

Damn... I doesn't work. Does it have something to do with this text stated in JS: "// set the starting position of the cursor outside of the screen"?

It's just a regular Squarespace site with the Carmine theme https://www.squarespace.com/templates/carmine-demo. So it should work on deafault, right?

Yes, I purchased the business plan, so I am able to implement code.

I can see that the JS code is visible at the button of every page on the website, so something is definitely not right.

I have added you as an admin.

Last thing... My regular cursor is still visible on top of the new one – unlike the one on Codepen. How do I remove that?

My header is also too wide now. My logo and burger menu was aligned with the rest of the content. Now i it misaligned.
