Custom Code for Text Overlay on Gallery Images?

Is there any type of custom code to make the description on gallery images overlay on the image like the portfolio page layout? Trying to recreate the look of that type of page to then link to another page.

Hey! Yes so trying to get the text below here on the gallery images to appear across the image like it is shown in the 2nd image.

Essentially trying to create a landing page with images with titles (centered on image) that are linked to each section on my website and some of those sections are portfolio style pages so I want to keep the unison , if that makes any sense! lol
