Get static URL of uploaded JS file?

I have a Javascript file that I've uploaded to my site which can be accessed via url.com/s/hover.js. I want to reference this script using code injection, but just putting this in doesn't work: 

<script src="url.com/s/hover.js"</script>

When I visit that URL, hover.js just automatically downloads instead of displaying inside my browser. Can't see what the static1.squarespace.com link actually is. 

With that in mind, how do I get or find the static URL of this file?
